Terms & Conditions
1. Appointment as Agent
You appoint P R Claims Limited as your authorised agent with the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) to prepare, submit, and manage Fuel Excise Duty (FED) refund applications on your behalf for the past 24 months and on an ongoing basis each quarter until you notify us otherwise.
2. Authority to Collect and Use Information
You authorise us to collect, store, and use your business and fuel usage information, contact your suppliers (e.g. fuel providers & accountants) to obtain supporting data, submit documentation and communicate with the NZTA on your behalf.
3. Fees and Payment
You agree our fee is 15% + GST of the total refund amount or $50, whichever is greater (excluding GST). Refunds will be paid into our business account. We will deduct our fee before forwarding the net refund amount onto your nominated bank account. We process payments once per quarter (4 times a year).
4. Refunds and Accuracy
You confirm all information provided to us is accurate and complete. You indemnify P R Claims Limited against any losses or liabilities that arise due to incorrect or incomplete data. We will contact you once per quarter to check that data held is current and up to date.
5. Privacy and Confidentiality
We will treat all your information as confidential and only use it for refund processing or service-related communication. Your data will be securely stored and not shared without your permission, except as required by law.
6. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and take effect immediately unless otherwise stipulated.
7. Termination
You may terminate our appointment at any time by written notice. This does not affect any claims already submitted or refunds in progress.
